Yard manager. I’m a responsible for the successful run of a full livery and dealing yard. I’m responsible for the care of 28 horses which vary from bombproof cobs to warmbloods, show jumpers and breakers.

I have worked on a series of yards and done a year as a freelance groom.

I have worked at Handley equestrian which was a breeding/ producing and livery yard. I was the yard manager and managed a yard of 24. I was responsible in assisting with foaling and riding the breakers. I was also responsible for the day to day yard duties.

Warren Farm stables-

Here I have gained a range of freelance work from exercising livery horses, day to day running of the yard and chores.

Woodside stables-

Here I acted as a groom and instructor! I was responsible for day to day yard jobs, producing school horses and teaching young people right through to adults to ride. Border view farm- I was responsible for the day to day running of the livery yard. The yard jobs and I again instructed young people to ride.

Hacking, backing, schooling, foaling, youngsters

I am a confident, competent rider. I am happy to ride on the flat and jump.
