Customer service. Serving and meeting new customers as they come into the store with a friendly face, preparing food and drinks following the correct hygeine standards.

I have been riding and working with horses from a young age at a local riding school. I was responsible for the health and safety of all the horses on the yard, and maintaining a tidy and safe work environment. I would also take customers out on hacks around Haldon forest, and would be responsible for a mixture of riders whether they were experienced or beginners. I also helped a lots of young kids whilst learning to ride, and people with additional needs. During working here I rode a mixture of horses from naughty ponies to my ex racer which I had on loan for several years. I also went to several local shows, competitions, and hunts.

Whilst in school I also attended a weeks work experience at a racing/eventing yard where a helped exercise the horses on the gallops, of which I really enjoyed and got very good feedback from.

I am a very hard working, enthusiastic individual who has a strong love for all animals. I can work well in a team but when needed I can use my own initiative to under take tasks on my own; a good example of this was when I worked on a farm assisting the herdsmen with milking but also managing by myself when other jobs had to be completed. I will always put 100% effort into anything asked of me and am a quick learner.

I am very open minded to what type of work I would like to do. However from having an ex racer for many years I do like the idea of helping with some sort of racer or eventer. I am happy to do full time or part time as long as the pay is ok for me to tick over. I do own my own dog which ideally would be able to come with me wherever I work (he is very good with horses and people) however if hours are suitable other arrangements can be made.
