I have completed my level two horse care and management at Duchy college with a distinction. I have also recently completed up to date first aid training and have a level 3 in race horse car and management

Yard work, riding out, General care, exercise, travelling, leading up at races and speaking with owners.

I’ve been working on professional yards since leaving college in 2018 where I gained my level two in equine care and management. I really enjoy it and love having responsibility’s and a challenge! I’ve taken my up to date first aid course and a level three in race horse management. I’ve been riding since I was a child and still enjoy having lessons on my own horse now, my bhs is something I’d like to work toward!

I am a hard worker that works efficiently to a high standard. I’m punctual and reliable, I have experience with race horses, event horses and polo ponies and hunters so have no problem handling fit horses. Ive dealt with a few brood mares and foals at previous jobs, I really enjoyed this and am eager to learn more about it!

I have mostly worked with race horses but do have experience with, riding schools, livery’s, polo ponies and event horses and hunters. I’m good at adapting and always up for learning new things!!

I have been a groom at the races a number of times over the years. I can turn out quickly to a good standard and have no problem dealing with fresh/fit competition animals.
