Duties of Current Occupation

I currently work as Deputy Manager at an animal rescue. Specialising in welfare and rehab, my role revolves heavily around equine and farm animals. I have a very keen interest in welfare standards and natural training methods.

Equine Work Experience

I have ridden and owned horses from a very young age. They are a huge passion of mine! I gained my NVQ level 3 at the age of 18 and have been working on various yards since. I have experience with youngstock, competition horses, “problem” horses and ponies but i have spent most of my time with rescue horses and ponies from varying pasts. I am at a rescue centre full time and run clinics and workshops on my day off working with troubled horses or humans or both! I do have a keen interest in welfare and am looking for my next venture now that my current centre is running to the best of its capabilities.

Specialities

Rehabilitation, equine vet nursing, breaking and training, problem horses or ponies, welfare, alternative training, youngstock, riding (English), have competed to international level, bitless, liberty work, therapy.

Type of Ride Work

I am a confident, competant and calm rider and am willing to learn different riding techniques. Complete opposite of electric bottom and will sit on anything! I am small enough to fit on ponies too.
