i have no equine related qualifications. but i am interested in an apprenticeship.

i have not worked in a professional equine environment, but i do have a few years experience in a family friend ran schooling yard where i experienced hacking, schooling, grooming, feeding, tacking and untacking, loading and unloading from trailers, eventing such as show jumping and cross country, keeping a yard tidy, mucking out, foaling and breeding, handing stallions and foals as well as wild new forest ponies, taking care of other live stock like chickens and general horse care.

i have worked with mares in foal, foals, stallions, show jumping horses, schooling horses. i have experience riding in schools, hacking and eventing including show jumping and cross country. also mucking out, feeding, tacking and untacking, tack care, plaiting mains and tails and grooming. aswell as keeping a yard clean and tidy, keeping tack rooms tidy and turning horses in and out of pasture.

i have ridden fully trained show jumping and cross country horses, schooling horses, have helped break in horses and have helped train problem horses.

i have good experience in flat work, jumping and cross country.

i have competed in county show jumping competitions and county cross country competitions.
