Duties of Current Occupation

General yard work, horse care and exercising horses aswell as assisting riding lessons

Equine Work Experience

I have 11 years experience with horses from previously owning my own, to help schooling horses and currently working with horses and learning on how to teach riding lessons. I owned my own horse for 7 years. I have schooled a few problem horses for 3 years. I currently know how to teach a beginner lesson and teach correct advice with confidence.

Specialities

I have handled stallions and youngsters and im very confident at doing so. My experience with team leading is coming along great and im now confident doing it as i am teaching a few lessons independantly. i can turn out to a high standard and i have great time management when it comes to yard work such as mucking out and keeping the yard tidy. I am a confident rider and in previous jobs i was given a role to excersise the horses as my riding skills are confident enough to do so

Type of Ride Work

I have ridden green horses, young horses and the typical plod along lesson horse

im very confident with flat work and hacking alone/with company. i can pop a few small fences as im working on getting better with my position

At my current vacancy i have volenteered to steward with the competitions held there.
