32 female looking to return to the world of horses. Horse lover since a child, with experience working on a privately run family dressage and showing yard within East Lothian. Holder of two unrelated degrees within professional roles.Duties of Current Occupation
Groom at privately run, family dressage and showing yard. All stable management duties to a very high standard. Sole responsibility of a yard. Preparing horses for competition. Looking after horses who live out and in.
Equine Work Experience
Have been around horses since a child and therefore it is a natural place to be. I hold a gentle, quiet but confident approach with horses. Very high standards without needing to be told.
Specialities
Left working with horses in 2019 to pursue a career in social work and looking to return. I am very skilled at working with others, often in very demanding situations. I have natural leadership when under pressure. When I had sole responsibility of a yard I knew how to organise my day to achieve essential tasks whilst always considering how I can make sure the yard is kept running. Key skills such as prioritisation and adapting to busier days such as farrier, clipping or vet visits.
