i have completed my level 3 equine management course and gained Merit and Distinctions. Late last year i completed my level 2 team leading and in the april just gone I gained my First Aid at work. I am currently looking at gaining my BHS stage 2 coaching.

I have previously been a groom for a grand prix dressage rider aswell as currently being a part time riding instructor

I have volunteered in local riding schools since i was 9 where i learnt most of the basics. I have also worked for people looking after their horses where i was trusted to do yard duties and take sole charge. I had my a dutch warmblood for around 2 years, where we did hacking, showjumping and dressage. After he passed I started working with a horse who was mistreat for a while and at that point became borderline dangerous. in a few months he came on amazingly and is now learning to jump and excelling in his flatwork, we have worked through his scared behaviours and found a comfortable and safe way for him to learn. I had previous employment for a grand prix dressage yard, where i completed sole charge days aswell as worked in a team. My main role was to do general yard duties aswell as care for the top end horses and their individual needs. I now currently teach at a riding school part time, which I do thoroughly enjoy as I love to see others gain confidence.

I take pride in my work, therefore i turn out to a high standard, this reflects in my yard work and show prep. I have a years experience in supervising and management therefore can work very well as a team aswell as taking charge of a team.

i have had experience with green horses, and all types and breeds from cob to thoroughbreds. my last horse was a warmblood from the indoctro bloodline who proved to be everything and more. i have had experience in dressage, showjumping and some cross country. i also enjoy doing lots of groundwork with horses using positive reinforcement. My current horse is a OTTB, whom i got very underweight and undermuscled, a year later he is showjumping at 80 and we are going to Arena Uk this summer.

i have competed in unnaffiliated showjumping and dressage so far as my horse was unfortunately too old to go much higher and go affiliated. i have also helped a friend compete BS. during my college course it has also been a part of it to help run events, we helped with the horse trials at bishop burton and held a dressage competition for first years. However my new horse will be taking me to Grassroots championships at Arena Uk. I have worked with Grand Prix dressage horses but never travelled.
