Duties of Current Occupation
In my previous jobs working as a yard groom , my main duties were as follows:
- Mucking out -Providing fresh hay and water to the horses -Making up feed -Turning out horses/bringing in -Handling work with nervous horses -Tacking up

2016 - 2018: Yard groom at South Pasture riding stables (ridden included) 2018 - 2023 - Yard groom at an equine rescue centre/RSPCA equine 2024- May 2025 - Yard groom at Aike Grange Stud Equestrian Centre July 2025 - present - yard groom/ home groom at showjumping yard
Specialities
In my previous role as a groom for a rescue centre, I handled both foals, stallions and broodmares. During my time working as a groom on a stud yard, I handled and lead foals and broodmares. I can confidently lead a team and supervise work being completed to a high standard, In my current role on a showjumping yard, I take a sole charge role as a home groom. I am confident in administering medication to horses when required.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden school ponies at a entry level of riding, but have completed jumping, flatwork, polework and hacking in a group.
Competition Details
I have never competed, but previously worked as a groom on a stud farm and competition yard, specialising in Dressage.
