Qualifications
I hold no formal equine qualifications but hold many in the public sector industry. I studied at bishop Burton college for my level 3 in uniformed public services. I hold many qualifications in social care, safeguarding, manual handling, mental capacity and assessing needs.
Duties of Current Occupation
I have worked in health and social care for most of my career. In this time I have developed exceptional communication skills and a good working ethos. I have also worked as a yard manager, ran a stud farm and worked alongside too dressage riders .
Equine Work Experience
I've worked as a yard manager of a riding school for several years as well as managing a stub farm breeding Czech warmbloods. All the usual duties including mucking out, keeping the yard tidy, worming, exercising horses, feeding, rigging, prep for shows, organisation of shows, staff management as well as assisting in a breeding program and AI. I have also worked along side the late great dressage rider Laura Fry.
Specialities
I have very good social and costumer skills which I have developed over the years. I have a fine eye for detail and the determination to get things right! I'm an easy going person but regard myself as having common sense.
Type of Ride Work
I own my own horse and have done for many years. I mainly compete at cross country but have also completed at one day events ,dressage and show jumping. I have also completed in showing and hunter classes. I am a keen hunt rider. I have broken many horses over the years and brought youngsters on as well as schooling.
Competition Details
I have competed for many years at BSJA, hunter trials and one day events always doing quite well in placings and personal victories!
