Duties of Current Occupation

Equine Work Experience

I have experience working sole charge on a small private yard of event horses part time in which I've taken on a lot of responsibility and worked very hard, meanwhile also attending Plumpton College part time to do a level 3 extended diploma in equine management (which I will have completed by 14th June 2021). The reason I will be leaving my current position in June is because I will now be looking for a job full time with accommodation available. I have good equine knowledge and a good ability to work with horses practically. In terms of riding, I am a kind and competent rider and have had horses on loan, have ridden friends horses and have had regular lessons at college. I am adjustable to different horses to hack, on the flat and to jump, however I have never competed and don't excel at any particular discipline.

Specialities

I am a highly motivated individual who is passionate about horses and is always driven to work to the best of my ability. I thoroughly enjoy working as part of a team but am also happy to work alone. I believe I have good equine knowledge, good communicational skills with people, good use of my own initiative as well as being good at following instructions.

Type of Ride Work

I would enjoy a riding position with riding available including schooling, hacking and potentially jumping.

Competition Details

I have experience working for eventers and caring for competition horses at home, however I have never groomed at an event or competed myself.
