Duties of Current Occupation
Currently a freelance groom covering East Sussex completing all yard duties to a very high standard aswell as all aspects of riding and lunging.
Equine Work Experience
20 years experience working with all different types of horses from hunters, events, race horses, foals, brood mares and stallions. Exercising, lunging, jumping and fittening work. I’m extremely clean and tidy with an eye for detail. Able to turn horses out to a very high standard.
Specialities
Clipping, trimming and plaiting. Can handle young stock, fit hunters and Eventers. Hard working and competent. Experience with backing, breaking and riding away.
Type of Ride Work
Ridden a variety of horses and ponies from cobs and show ponies to masters horses and BE eventers. Fittening and training hunt horses for the hunting season a head so a lot of canter/gallop training, hacking and ride and leading. Schooling and jumping weekly. I have backed and ridden away race horses. Currently hunting my own horses aswell with hopes to event in the summer.
Competition Details
Have been a show groom at various shows. Turning out horses for Hunt Masters and event riders. Can clip and plait to a very high standard.
