Duties of Current Occupation

Produced young horses, improving balance, suppleness, and performance. Managed daily yard duties, including mucking out and feeding. Assisted in competition prep. Taught riders, helping with flatwork and jumping to build confidence and skills.

Equine Work Experience

I am fast, reliable, and tidy on the yard, with experience across both larger jumping and dealing yards as well as smaller, more focused dressage yards. I’ve worked well in a team environment, managed less experienced staff, and have also taken on sole charge when needed. I compete up to 1.30m in BS showjumping and ride to a high standard, especially when it comes to flatwork. I freelance for several clients, working with a wide variety of horses including show ponies, competition jumpers, and dressage stallions. In addition to my riding experience, I have taught riders of all levels, helping them build confidence, improve their flatwork and jumping skills, and develop a better understanding of horse care. My experience allows me to adapt to different horses and environments, always ensuring the best care and preparation for each horse I work with.

Specialities

Turnout to a good standard, confident handling stallions, young horses, and foals. Ride to a very high standard on the flat, producing horses to improve their balance, suppleness, and overall way of going. Experienced in sole charge and general yard management.

Type of Ride Work

I’ve worked with a multitude of horses, from show ponies to quirky show jumpers to dressage stallions. I’ve backed and brought on young horses. Ridden competition horses and worked with more laid back all rounders to improve their way of going

Competition Details

I compete myself to 1.30m BS. Worked in competition yards, groomed myself at shows and trained riders and helped them at shows
