My qualifications include: Science GCSE (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) English GCSE Equine Care Level 2 (Distinction, Merit, Merit) Equine Care and Management Level 3 year 1 (Merit, Merit, Pass) Equine Care and Management Level 3 year 2 (Merit, Merit, Pass)

My main duties include mucking out, Grooming, Feeding, Dog walking, turning out/bringing in, Riding Flat, Clipping, Tacking up, Bathing, Cleaning Tack, Welcoming customers, Keep record of vaccinations/worming/shoeing, make hay nets, Stack shelves.

I have currently just finished at Plumpton College studying equine care and management. This includes Science of the horses body(Anatomy and Physiology), Riding Flat and Jump, Animal Health and Nutrition(Horses/Cows/Dogs), Care of the competition horse, Riding Tests, Equine diet, Riding and Road Safety and learning the Five freedoms and the rules of Animal welfare. I have also worked and volunteered on many yards as a stable hand and also as Head girl, These being either Rescue yards, Livery yards or Riding schools. During my time doing this I would complete all yard duties (Mucking out, Grooming, Feeding, Turning out/Bringing in, Health checks, Exercising the horses, Tack cleaning, Clip the horses that needed to be clipped, Bath the horses and would also keep record of Vaccinations/worming and shoeing. I have also grown up living and working around horses with family members that have horses which i am currently helping to look after until im able to find an equine job that suits me

I have worked with foals, Shetlands, ponies, stallions, thoroughbreds and cobs. I have experience being head girl on a working rescue yard which included teaching kids to ride, making phone calls and helping to run the yard. I like to turn out and bring in to a high standard. I am quick at mucking out but making sure I have done it to the highest standard I can. I am good at keeping everything tidy on the yard making sure there are no hazards and I like to keep tack clean/tidy after every ride.

I have experience riding many types of horses including, Green horses, Young horses, Problem horses and Horses that have just been backed.

In my many years of riding experience I have ridden thoroughbreds, Cobs, Shires, Warm-bloods and Arabs.

I have ridden in Flat and jump for Ten years and although I have never ridden in Cross-Country, Hunter, or Eventing I am planning on starting soon and would like to gain some experience in these.

I have been involved in many competitions including, The south of England Show, The Plumpton Annual Horse show and Badminton Horse Trials. I have only competed in one competition which took place at Plumpton College which was Show jumping and Flat work (Dressage).
