Qualifications
I have 11 GCSEs covering all basics (maths English and separate sciences), with business and art based subjects additionally. I studied art subjects at college receiving 3 a levels. At Plumpton I am studying the foundation degree, and each year of study we can do the BHS stages so am working towards BHS stage 1 currently.
Duties of Current Occupation
I am a student at Plumpton college studying Equine Science and Coaching FDSC BCSH
Equine Work Experience
Started riding as a child, then took up assisting the riding school at weekends. Cared for 2 horses and helped out in lessons, leading and setting up. Stopped at the riding school after 5 years as they were no longer benefiting me so hacked out and exercised a private owners horses for 2 years around the countryside. Had a break from riding whilst I was in college and recently started back up at a riding school and am now studying at Plumpton College on the foundation equine degree. However I feel as though I would benefit more from work rather than sitting in a classroom. I enjoy and excel more with a hands on approach and an apprenticeship or learning role working would bring out the best in my ability.
