Equine Work Experience
I’ve been around horses since I was a toddler, coming from an animal-loving family. I volunteered for several months at Burstow Park Riding School, assisting instructors, grooming, mucking out, feeding, tacking up, and leading horses in lessons. I’ve also owned my own horse for two years, managing daily care, turnout, grooming, feeding, and light exercise. I’m confident handling different temperaments, observing horse behaviour, and maintaining routines to ensure welfare. Additionally, I’ve completed online courses in horse care, stable management, equine psychology, and horse health awareness. I’m passionate about eventing, eager to build my skills, and flexible to work full days during school holidays.
