No equine qualifications however I am willing to achieve if required.

I have worked in a veterinary practice for 3 years since I left school as an animal care assistant and I was half way through my student veterinary nurse training before I left due to work issues. My responsibilities were dealing with animal patients

I have equine experience from around five years old when I started at pony club. I then started loaning horses from around age 11 and then bought my own last September. I have done jumping upto 1 meter and dressage tests. I haven’t done any hunting however this does interest me and I am looking to buy another horse to do this with. My horse got into a freak accident this July and required immediate medical attention as he ripped open his flank and I had to medicate and dress this by second intention healing until around a few weeks ago where he has now developed navicular in both front legs. Therefore I have give him to a family friend to be a companion however we are debating whether his quality of life is ok or not. I have experience grooming, mucking out, attention to detail, making sure stables are to a high standard and animal welfare is kept at a high standard and all horses are treated with respect and good handling. I am still willing to learn.

I have experience with a colt of my mums until she sold him and my youngster until he got into a freak accident and injured him self so he sadly has to be put to sleep.

Flatwork - Welsh D Flat work and jumping - traditional cob Flat work - standard bred I have loaned a thoroughbred in the past and have done some jumping.

I have competed in local shows. I have not worked on a competion yard or as a groom.
