I am currently working as a stud hand on a warmblood stud. I was an equine midwife on a warmblood stud so performed a number of stud duties. I have also worked as an event groom and international show groom for show jumpers.

I have been working with horses on and off since I was 17. I have worked in many areas of the equine industry, my favourite being stud, specifically foaling. I have been an international show groom in Belgium for a couple of show jumpers, I accompanied them all over Europe to different show jumping tours. I have been an equine midwife and stud hand, learning all of the aspects of equine reproduction. I have also been an event Groom to a lovely family with children, I worked for them for many years caring for both children and horses to a very high standard. I can also drive a 3.5 tonne lorry. Tow a trailer and have my quad bike licence.

I have worked with broodmares and foals, handling stallions, and been sole charge on foal watch. I have also started to learn the semen collection process and would love to learn more about AI. I have also been acting head girl whilst senior staff were away. From a young age I was a competition groom for a family who had very high standards of turnout.

I have exercised fit competition horses, and helped to start young event horses. I have experience competing in show jumping and combined training for my employer. I have also taken people out hacking. I have also been out hunting.

I have competed in unaffiliated dressage, and combined training. Also taken horses for fun rides and out hunting. I have also been a competition groom for an event rider who rode youngsters at Novice level. I groomed for her at Badminton grass roots, Burleigh young event horse, and Nunney International. I worked in Belgium for two different show jumping families who competed internationally.
