I hold the BHS Horse Owners Certificate Stage 1 and Stage 2 and BHS Riding and Road Safety Certificate. I have a Level 3 Qualification in Horse Management and a Foundation Degree in Animal Welfare.

I am a member of the British Grooms Association and I am a volunteer for British Equestrian Vaulting. I am on the committee for my local Vaulting Club and help out at Vaulting competitions around the UK.

I have a good amount of experience from working at a variety of different yards and animal establishments. These include Riding Schools, Racing, Hunting, Polo, Livery yards and Vets. I currently work at a riding school a few hours a week.

I work a few hours per week at a riding centre caring for horses. This includes mucking out, providing hay and water, grooming, tacking up, turning out and leading ponies in lessons. I am competent handling horses of different temperaments safely and caring for them according to their needs.

I have ridden fit racehorses and Hunters. Young horses, a variety of different breeds and temperaments. I have hunted, done flatwork, showjumping, cross country, hacking, ride and lead.

I used to compete as a member of the Pony Club.
