I have over 25 years of equine experience and have gained skills through roles in the equestrian, pet sitting, property and corporate worlds which I would like to combine through a new role on a private yard/estate.Documents
Duties of Current Occupation
Livery yard owner. Freelance grooming/riding. Doggy daycare/boarding owner. Barclays Bank managing a portfolio of large corporate clients. Residential property investment. Volunteering with dogs/farm animals.
Equine Work Experience
Over 25 years of equine experience with all shapes/sizes/ages.
My first full time job was a live-in groom/rider position on a yard of 20 sports horses. The owners frequently travelled to Europe to import new horses leaving me in sole charge of the yard/house including all day to day care, riding and vets/farriers appointments.
I then owned/managed my own livery yard of 10 horses. I undertook all day to day care, riding, rehabilitation, competing, advertising/social media, yard maintenance/improvement, administration and accounting.
Since moving in to the Corporate world, I have continued to undertake some freelance yard work/riding/volunteering with animals.
Specialities
Sole charge/freelance/team work. Full yard set up/management/admin/advertising/managing accounts. Organising orders/deliveries/vet/farrier/physio appointments. Show and sales prep/trimming/plaiting/clipping. Injury rehabilitation. Breaking/riding/competing youngstock. Driving 3.5t, willing to gain additional licenses.
