I have my pony club C+ riding and care badge.
Duties of Current Occupation
I worked on a livery yard which was also a riding school for 3 years. Jobs included: tacking and untacking horses, riding all sorts of horses - from 145cm showjumpers to just broken 4 year olds, mucking out and general yard jobs.
Equine Work Experience
I have owned horses for 8 years now, at one point having 3 at once to ride and compete. I have had a wide range, from 4 year olds to schoolmasters. I have competed up to 1 metre but not more due to horses capabilities, but school higher at home. My current horse is very strong and quirky so I am not phased by any horses.
Specialities
Worked with both foals and stallions, leading etc.
Type of Ride Work
I've ridden showjumpers, but I highly enjoy flat schooling and I use it as a keen foundation for all ridden work, as well as hunters, eventers and I also hack a lot.
Competition Details
In my previous job, there was a 145cm showjumper, who I would travel to competitions with, plait for and look after her yard and other horses whilst she was away.
