I have completed my pony club tests up to B+ which is the equivalent of BHS stage 2.

I have worked in multiple roles as a groom from quality basic bare for rescue companions to prepping horses for sales viewings, assisting with show prep. On top of I currently self employed holiday cover for multiple returning clients.

I am 23 and have been around horses since I was around 4 years old. It has been in my path to be a groom since I was around 6 when I would spend a full weekend day per week helping at my riding school. From this point on I have dabbled in and out of different aspects of the equine world. I have competed myself, being my own groom giving me great experience from the riders perspective. I have also groomed away at shows for a few friends in my early teens. I have experience working on a sales yard meaning I have encountered a wide range of horses and ponies in this role. As I was regularly the first on the yard I would ensure all horses were fed, hayed up, and any medications given before anything else took place. Horses care and welfare is always my top priority. I am currently doing some freelance work while I find a permanent yard. In this role I have assisted with show prep as well as have multiple repeat clients for holiday cover all with positive reviews.

I do regular holiday cover for a client with three foals and multiple young horses on the yard. I have also owned my own young stock before giving me invaluable daily experience with them.

I do regret to say I have no prior experience with stallions but I am confident I would pick this up quickly if needed!

I have been out of the saddle for a couple of years but would be happy to get back into it if required for a role. I have previously done eventing and show jumping along with a small amount of hunting experience.

I have previous competing experience myself.
