Duties of Current Occupation

I can muck out, turn horses in and out, feed, groom, tack up, ride, exercise and handle horses safely. I’m happy to help with general yard duties, keeping stables tidy and ensuring horses are well cared for.

Equine Work Experience

I recently completed Hartpury College’s Level 3 Equine Management & Equitation course, achieving Distinction* Distinction Distinction (A*A A). I have hands-on experience with loan horses and caring for a variety of horses and equines, including exercising, schooling, handling and general yard care.

Specialities

I’ve worked with rescue horses and other equines, including younger and less experienced horses. I’m confident handling different temperaments and enjoy building trust while providing patient, reliable care.

Type of Ride Work

I’ve ridden a wide range of horses, from younger horses to more experienced older horses. I’m confident hacking and riding on the flat in all three paces. I have some jumping experience and am keen to build my confidence and develop my jumping further with the guidance of the right trainer.

Competition Details

I have basic yard skills including grooming, plaiting, tacking up, turning horses in and out, mucking out and general stable care. I have experience working on a livery yard and am keen to continue developing my skills and gaining further hands-on experience.
