Bio
I have owned horses from the age of 11- I am now 23 and still have a horse currently. I am kind, positive, hard working, reliable with excellent communication. I work to high standards and put the horses at the front of everything I do.
Duties of Current Occupation

I previously worked on a livery yard managing anywhere from 7-20 horses that were on livery. I worked to exceptionally high standards keeping the yards tidy and making sure the horses were all cared for to again, an exceptionally high standard.

Equine Work Experience

I have a keen eye for detail and every horse I care for is treated as my own- even sneaking in a little cuddle when able to do so. I will always notice when something is not right with a horse and will take the most appropriate action to support the horse in the best way possible. I am able to carry out grooming to a high standard, I can only full clip but would like to be able to learn other clips- I can plait (have no done it in a while so may need some practice), I can provide first aid to horses also. I do no currently hold a HGV license but this is something I am happy to complete if required.

Specialities

I am able to lead a team, as I have done previously. When I worked at the livery yard, I trained new starts and completed trials with applicants when a new role came up. I have handled stallions, youngsters, broken in youngsters, worked to very high standards, been left in sole charge of a livery yard with many other experiences.

Type of Ride Work

I am a confident, capable, quiet rider. The horse I currently own is how I would describe to be “spicy”- this meaning I have a good seat and am happy to get on any horse I am asked to. I have ridden youngsters, hunters, show jumpers, dressage competition horses, happy hackers etc.
