Experienced equestrian coach specialising in rider education, horsemanship and educational programme development. Looking to support progressive equestrian centres in creating engaging, welfare-led learning experiences.
Qualifications

BHSAI/INT.T. (Old Intermediate Teaching Test 2009); Took several modules on the Equine Sports Science (Hons) at Hartpury College in 2006/7 as a mature student wanting to learn more. Currently doing 1 year course Advanced Trainers Course with TRT Method with Tristan Tucker.

Equine Work Experience

Over 30 years in the industry, 23 years in the UK, 1 year intensive training in Portugal (SJ, WE, DR). Foundation training, backing, rehabilitative schooling, jumping, flatwork.

Specialities

Main specialities: rider biomechanics and development & holistic horse education. Worked with young horses, foals and stallions. High attention to detail and customer experience.

Type of Ride Work

Not currently looking for ride work but I am an experienced, quiet, competent rider on the flat; Have jumped (up to 1.40m) and XC (up to 1m) and ridden dressage movements to GP.

Competition Details

Not interested in competing at the moment but have competed SJ to 1.10m and Eventing BE90. Worked at Grand Prix Dressage yard, Olympic level SJ yard, a large competition Stallion Depot and at an Eventing yard.
