I grew up around horses from a young age, riding and caring for them consistently throughout my life. My first structured yard experience, outside of pony camps and weekends, was with the Riding for the Disabled Association during college, where I gained valuable work experience. While at Hartpury University, I spent a summer in Florida working at a Mustang Rescue Ranch, handling recently rounded-up wild horses and developing skills in patience, trust-building, and safe handling. After completing my studies, I worked on a Show Jumping yard for several months, gaining experience with horses of all ages, temperaments, and levels of training. These opportunities have strengthened my practical skills in yard management, grooming, and horse care, while also confirming my passion for working with horses and my commitment to pursuing a long-term career within the equine industry.
