Duties of Current Occupation
Amateur Event Riding (10years competing within BE and BSJA) Assistant at South House Farm Livery Yard (Family Livery) 10 horses in full livery including schooling, mucking out, arranging farrier/vet etc.. Emirates Airline- Cabin Crew (2years)
Equine Work Experience
20years riding including 10years competing within BE and BSJA, including Pony Trials (Pony European Trials& Selection Route).
I muck out, groom, turnout, feed to a high standard and am constantly learning new skills that can help me on the job.
Specialities
I work well with developing individual personalised plans with each horse, to develop its strengths and work on its weaknesses through all disciplines and including hacking. I am best with young horses and developing them. I am an eager and quick learner so anything I haven’t learnt I improve on ASAP as I love to add a new skill to the toolbox. I enjoy quirkier and more difficult horses and excel working within a team but can also work on my own initiative
Type of Ride Work
I particularly love dressage, and jumping (xc and showjumping), but I have tried my hand at a bit of hunting, team chase, western (I almost entered a rodeo lol), and a bit of tv/film stunt riding classes!
I ride horses mainly between 13.2hh-17hh though would be comfortable on almost anything I can fit on!
Competition Details
I have not worked on a competition yard but am familiar with the runnings of most styles of competition, and have experience working on a family livery yard, mainly family horses and younger horses needing a bit more schooling.
