General yard duties including; mucking out, grooming, tacking up/untacking, exercising horses, grooming, poo picking, etc.
Equine Work Experience
Over the past six years I have volunteered at a rescue centre in Spain where I have retrained individual horses, helping them become calmer and more confident. This includes helping a 15.1hh Menorquín mare go from being terrified of people to enjoying long rides including the beach and baths. Also, when I first started sharing a little 13.1hh cob he would never hack out alone but with some encouragement and patience we now hack by ourselves. Following my work experience at a local riding school I was offered a weekend position where I have been working for over a year. I have also completed trick riding course with Karl Greenwood which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Experience with rescue horses, riding school, disabled riding school, my own share, working in a team and on my own.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden numerous horses including riding school horses, rescue horses, trick/stunt horses. I have ridden flatwork, jumping (up to 1.05m), hacking and beach rides.
