I have been around horses since age 4 and have always had a passion for providing outstanding care and prioritising the welfare of horses. I currently have my own 16hh ISH/Cob mare and assist at the yard where she is kept in the evenings and weekends. This includes:

• Turning in/out
• Mucking out to an OCD standard
• Haying and watering
• Picking feet/washing down/bathing
• Lunging/long reining
• Assisting in backing
• Grooming/finishing to a high standard
• Plaiting
• Equine social media management for sales/breaking
• Equine advertisement

I am happy handling all types of horses from miniature Shetlands to ex racers. I am waiting to take my equine first aid course (postponed due to Covid 19) and will continue to develop my skills in caring for horses. I am always keen to improve my skills and add to my knowledge - I have found with horses you can never know to much or have too much experience! I am a keen and quick learner.

I am an enthusiastic, dedicated and friendly team player ready to take on a full time equine role. I am a fast learner who always works to an extremely high standard. I use the transferable skills I have learnt during my time in the legal sector and my equestrian experience to ensure that I have a high attention to detail, able to prioritise and make quick decisions and am always punctual. I have a long standing passion for the welfare of horses and would like to put my skills to good use.
