Equine Work Experience
I have retrained racehorses, produced sports ponies and produced showjumpers, along with brining horses back into work after injury. I can send through a riding CV and videos if need be. I have competed since I was 2 years old, in both South Africa and Bahrain, in which I have done a range of things, from dressage to showing to showjumping. I prefer showjumping however I am not opposed to dressage as it is the basics of most if not all disciplines. While I have been in the UK, I have been producing a young British Sports Horse for my universities equine academy, of which I am part of as a production rider. In the past, I have worked for private owners and the Royal Stables in Bahrain. For my private owners I was a competition rider along with producing and retraining horses they brought in. For the Royal stables I was a competition and exercise rider.
Specialities
My specialty is showjumping, I have competed up to 130cm and higher at home. However I have competed up to Elementary in dressage with medium movements at home.
Type of Ride Work
I am happy to do whatever I am not fussy, I enjoy flatwork and jumping, I have ridden youngsters, stallions, geldings, mares, all sorts of different types of horses. If I had a preference I would like something that leads to a bit of competition time, whether that be in showjumping or dressage.
Competition Details
As I have mentioned, I have competed in showjumping up to 130cm, and at home I have jumped a few 140cm fences, some of which were part of a course. In the national showjumping in Bahrain, I have consistently placed in the top 8 every time I have competed, and for 2 years in a row placed in the top 5 overall for all riders there. I have competed up to Elementary in dressage, and maintaining top of the league for dressage in Bahrain for 3 years. As well as practicing medium movements at home.
