Equine Work Experience

I started in a riding school where i worked every saturday for the 1st 2 years-yard duties and learning basics. 2017 I worked in a professional SJ yard for lenghty hours most days-preparing horses for sales and videos, turning out, loose jumping and other yard duties-keeping a tidy yard, putting horses in walkers etc. Same year on another yard I worked with broodmares and foals preparing for sales, such as the Cavan Elite sales selection- grooming, leading, attending to show at the sales selection. 2019 I worked with a pony club for a week in the cafre college with young kids of all riding levels, helping to lead in lessons with real beginners, muck out all stables etc. 2020 I worked with a family who owned a yard of competetive ponies. I completed all yard duties, rode young horses, attended shows some 5 days long etc. 2021 helped prepare, lunge, taught to load a mare for Tattersalls Derby Sales. I am now looking for a summer placement as any spare time i have im at the yard working.

Specialities

I have worked with mares, broodmares, young horses, foals and have done slight work with stallions and am wanting to gain more experience with any of the above. I have often worked alone, in teams,1to1 with others including children, disabled and elders. I have completed experience in many yards and am capable to muck out quickly and to a high standard and like to keep a yard exceptionally tidy. Have experience in turning out different types of horses. Please read my CV it covers everything.

Type of Ride Work

Started in a riding school riding with basic horses/ponies I bought my first mare-2017 from the SJ yard Iworked at.After doing lots of work with her i sold her profitably in2020 by myself i have ridden some young and green horses/ponies and bought a 16"3 4yo mare of my own inApril who is very greenI have longreigned unbroken ponies andhave been on the back of a cart with a few young horses I SJ but not to huge heights, enjoy flatwork and have slight experience in XC. I want any experience going

Competition Details

I initiatially competed quite commonly in SJ but only up to heights of 80cm Sine purchasing my first mare I rarely was able to attend competitions but I did attend some local dressage tests and few SJ competitions of small heights up to 80cm. I have worked on SJ yards preparing horses, attending overnight shows and being an at hand help. Not competition but I have also schooled horses for other people only up to 90cm When my mare is ready i'm hoping to compete her as much as I possibly can. CV
