Duties of Current Occupation

Instructing H/J and Eq. lessons & camps for riders with varying experience. Horse show prep including horse turnout, warmup & barn organisation. General Horse care and yard duties including riding daily, Assist with vet,farrier,chiro etc

Equine Work Experience

I have been riding for 20 years with experience competing in showjumping and equitation/hunters. I have previously owned horses for 11 years including experience with interacting with vets, chiropractors and farriers, equine first aid including administering IM injections, injury and lameness rehabilitation, and typical yard duties. I have experience in schooling and riding for other owners. I have experience in grooming for shows including trailering, grooming, tacking up, clipping, braiding and assisting riders between classes. I have also taught riders for riding clubs as well as in competition with children of varying riding experience in privates as well as groups. I have previously worked as a riding camp counsellor alongside one other coworker for multiple years with groups of up to about 20 children (aged 6-15). I also have previous experience with pony rides for children with Intellectual Disabilities.

Type of Ride Work

Previous riding work/experience includes showjumping (competing), equitation and hunter riding styles (competing), showing, schooling, hacking, some dressage and lesser but some experience with western riding, trekking and barrel racing (as previously owned a Quarter Horse with experience in these riding styles).

Competition Details

I have previously competed in The Bahamas for over 10 years in showjumping up to 3 ft (90 cm), hunter jumpers, showing, hunter/equitation flatwork classes and various class types such as gambler's choice/accumulator and faults converted classes. Recently competed young prospects for my current employer in The Bahamas and have recently competed jumpers in Ocala at WEC and the Ocala Spring Classic.
