Equine Work Experience
I worked as a groom at a riding school and livery yard for a year until this yard unfortunately closed. Whilst working here I mostly mucked out stables and brought in/ turned out horses as well as tacking horses up ready for lessons. The second yard I worked on was a private boutique livery yard in Cowley, where I was sole-worker of the yard on weekends. Here I completed the same tasks of mucking out, turning out/bringing in, cleaning around the yard and also developed new skills such as lunging, making up personalised feeds for each of the horses and using a quad bike and trailer. I worked on a polo yard in Birdlip, where I had my own group of 5 horses which is exercised and cared for on a daily basis
I freelanced on many yards for multiple clients completing daily yard tasks, holiday cover and ridden work bringing on horses, schooling to a professional level as well as working with behaviours such as napping.

Some jumping, exercising polo horses on a set track, hacking, exercising client liveries, schooling for clients
