Duties of Current Occupation
Predominantly been a general farm worker from being 13. Currently a farm worker on a dairy farm. Previous employment: Bathurst Estate Farming, harvest worker. Previously worked casually on a show yard mucking out.
Equine Work Experience
Started riding at 7, owned a Welsh B pony, ex racer TB and currently my 15.1hh Connemara showjumper. Jump round tracks up to 120 at home and competed round 100 tracks. I have jumped on just about any pony/horse that’s been on the hard at home, usually ones that have posed a challenge to their owners, from Shires to cobs. Showed my first pony to county standard, he was an ex HOYS pony that loved a bronc and was a typical Welsh B. My current horse is a very sensitive ride, who needs constant encouragement from the rider.
Type of Ride Work
I have predominantly done flat work, showing, and showjumping. Due to parents work and home location, I never got the chance to xc school or hunt, but I quite enjoy a gallop round the stubbles and popping a few round bales.
