Duties of Current Occupation

Turn out&bring in,grooming,exercising(schooling ,lunging,hacking out),competition preparation, bandaging, basic first aid, making sure horses are healthy and handled safely, handling youngsters and stallions, general yard duties

Equine Work Experience

Exercising and schooling; handling and training young horses; making sure training is carried out safely with a correct use of equipment and general conduct risk assessment; Oversee and perform equine first aid and assessing general horses health, welfare and safety; Daily stables duties (feeding, mucking out, grooming, tacking up, plaiting, bandaging,tack cleaning etc.); assisting (grooming) at competitions; pre competition preparation; managing small team; High experience in customer service(Equestrian facility) within an office environment including answering phone calls, taking bookings, cash handling, answering emails, dealing with complaints and answering general enquiries; Supervising and sole charge of running the yard within a very busy company/ private yard, sales assistant in a small tack shop
