Level 2 Groom Apprenticeship

Enthusiastic Groom eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. I have a clear understanding of maintaining high levels and training in new skills.

I have been working towards my Level 2 Equine Groom since September of 2020, completed in October 2021. I have been working alongside a multiple team of physiotherapist, trainers and scheduled management within the Livery yard. I am confident in organizing and maintaining the correct feeding, water schedule, this includes learning all dietary need of each horse. • Led horses to and from stables and fields using the correct equipment, employing attention to detail to minimize potential injuries. • Thoroughly cleaned and maintained equipment including bridles, saddles. • Clean and brushed horses' coats using the correct brushes and, ensuring horses are well prepared for each activity they may be undertaking. • Prepared horses for lessons, competitions and shows. • Tacking up and un-tacking horses upon starting and completion of outings. • Maintaining thorough records of vaccinations, worming and shoeing schedules.

I am motivated to learn, grow and excel in the horse industry. I am also very organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. Reliable employee seeking full time position.
