Duties of Current Occupation

I am currently placed on competition yard working under the direction of Pammy Hutton's groom. Keeping the yard presentable for clients and owners Turning out and bringing in the horses Feeding the horses Exercising Giving lessons at BHS 2

Equine Work Experience

Jill Carenza Equestrian, Stanton, Nr Broadway, Worcestershire WR12 7NE While at Hartpury I spent holidays and weekends working for Jill Carenza Equestrian. Jill employed me during my holidays to exercise the horses, including the young horses and the owner’s horses.

Ecuries de la Tour, 24320 Bourg des Maisons, FRANCE The Ecuries de la Tour is my local club in France. It is a successful riding school and a competition yard with 15 horses that belong to owners who compete regularly at amateur level. There are also approx. 40 horses and ponies that belong to the owner for the riding school but as include retired horses and ponies and brood mares. I spent my holidays and weekends working here and assisting the owner and instructor. I would assist with all aspects of working on the yard

Elevage du Ferron, 16360 Condean, FRANCE Residential work experience at Anglo Arab stud breeding sports horses also showing at the national stud where one of their horses won champion of France

Specialities

I am a hard worker and enjoying being part of a team I enjoy working with young horses and am interested in training and handling young horses I have worked at a busy yard in the Cotswolds during my holidays and weekend while at college and have experience taking holiday makers from all over the world out on hacks and ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience. I have completed first aid training I have a driving license I am bilingual French/English and speak some German

Type of Ride Work

At Talland he students ride every day and receive instruction from the team of instructors including Pammy, Brian and Pippa Hutton. We receive lessons in all disciplines, dressage, show jumping and cross country.

Competition Details

I have competed and been placed at club and amateur level at up to 1.10m with my club in France. One of my clears round at 1.10m was with a 5 year old Anglo Arab that was at the yard for training and was new to competing and it was his first clear round. I really enjoyed this experience and I like working with young horses.
