- Looking for full-time groom job preferable monday - friday with some weekends as i compete my dog in agility and looking to do ROR with my horse. i have been out of racing for 6 months and i am now very confident riding in different disciplines.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in horse Care and riding. BHS stage 3 ( diploma) in horse care. BHS riding and road safety. Level 1- race horse care First aid

Duties of Current Occupation
basic horse care, equine first aid when required, calling and organizing the vets; farrier; forage and straw; muck heap removal and feed merchants when required, loading horses and driving them in a trailer, helping out at shows.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked with lots of different types of horses - showjumping and dressage, Riding school, Private owned horses and have done teaching training, first aid, Riding and road safety and have my BHS stage 3 care. For the last 8 years i have been working full time in racing yards. I have lots of experience riding out, going racing, handling fit horses, caring for horses, basic first aid - giving syringe medicine, poulticing on feet or legs, bandaging, cleaning wounds from operations. Im able to load horses, plait, pull manes, groom to high standard, assist in saddling up, leading up before the race, caring for horses after the race.
Specialities
show jumping up to 1.0. Some dressage but I have not had much training in this discipline. Riding school; getting horses ready for lessons, leading children, parties, some teaching although I have not done my exam. Assisting in braking in horses and bringing on for riding school standard and racehorses. I have my human first aid. Riding racehorses. Going racing; Plaiting, grooming, pulling manes, assisting with saddling up, leading up before the race, caring for horses after the race
