Qualifications
I have NVQ level one horse care but all my knowledge comes from years of experience as I was working with horses before these courses were avaliable

riding out, day to day care, feeding and dispensing of medication. driving horses to the races, declaring and speaking to jockeys. All aspects of organising the racing side of a busy yard. Also being in sole charge on smaller yards, working to time
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding all my life and specialising in racehorses for the past 6 years. I have my own horses who do all disciplines. I can school a horse and jump at speed or controlled in a ring. I have ridden work on racehorses at home and round the racetrack. I have schooled over hurdles and fences. I have assisted in the training and breaking of yearlings and preped foals and yearlings for sales. I have also broken in older horses.
Specialities
riding all kinds of horses and being able to adjust to their personalities and needs, particularly thoroughbreds. turning out to the highest standard. working in a team, leading a team and ensuring all other team members are working correctly/efficiently. Making sure all kit is clean and ready, organising people and horses to be ready for specific times.
