Most recently was a groom/rider on a showjumping yard until my redundancy at the end of March. There I was one of 3 grooms responsible for the care of up to 14 horses, as well as riding up to 5 per day.

I’ve competed in showjumping up to 1.30 nationally and internationally mainly on self produced horses. Along with my mother we have bought and produced numerous horses and ponies since I was a small child. This includes everything from pony club ponies, leisure horses and competition horses.

I have worked with stallions, broodmares and young stock as well as fit competition and racehorses. I have worked sole charge and as part of a team, as well as managing my own small yard of horses. I have my HGV license Able to show groom. Have ridden children’s ponies (as I’m only 5’3) Have a strong understanding of veterinary care having worked closely with vets on different yards

Mainly have worked with showjumping horses, which includes jumping, hacking, and flatwork. Most horses have been young and in need of schooling and improvement on the flat and jumping. Have worked on yards with problem horses, dressage horses and polo ponies so understand work needed for different horses and sports

Competing nationally currently and previously competed internationally. I have a good understanding of shows and high turnout standards
