I have worked with horses from a very young age, and evented up to the CCI2*L level. I have held working student positions at competitive event yards for multiple U.S. professionals. My duties included regular yard upkeep, horse care, grooming, and riding. I have also worked at a thoroughbred breeding farm, and a dressage horse breeding farm giving me experience with foals and young sport horses. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Administration from the University of Louisville, and am currently working towards my Master’s degree at Hartpury University.
Type of Ride Work
My riding experience specializes in event horses. I have competed two of my own horses up to the CCI2*L and intermediate level. Additionally, I have had multiple opportunities starting young/green horses and taking them to their first competitions/events. I am a patient rider which allows me to work well with problem or green horses.
I have extensive experience competing in eventing, and have been involved in young rider programs, and an intercollegiate eventing program.
I have groomed for 4* riders at competitions during my time as a working student for them.
I was the president of the intercollegiate eventing team at the University of Louisville and have experience organizing intercollegiate challenges at local events.
