- I am looking for a job as a groom preferably to include some ridden work for my gap year. My ideal job would include, general groom duties and exercising with accommodation as a must and ideally a space for my horse.
Qualifications
Grade 8 for GCSE; English, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Latin, R.S Grade 7 for GCSE Maths and History Grade 6 for GCSE Spanish B at A-level for Latin and classical civilisation D at biology A-level

Equine Work Experience
I have worked at an event yard for the past few months and have learnt a lot of skills from it. As previously mentioned I have always looked after and exercised horses and I have a very hard working attitude . Growing up on a farm, I have a good understanding of most animals and I regularly book vet and farrier appointments for my own horses. Each of my horses has a schedule tailored to them including exercise and diet etc. Care for horses is at the forefront of my ethos and I would love to turn my passion into a career.
Specialities
I have owned and looked after horses my entire life, from grooming and mucking out to hunting, hacking and competing. My formal training of turnout is not yet at a competitive level but this is something I would love to improve through experience. My passion and love for horses is shown through my high standard of care for each and every horse. I regularly hack, school and jump and go hunting, eventing and so on whenever I can.
Type of Ride Work
I have exercised a variety of horses and ponies for my local RDA group, but currently I hack, hunt and event my 15.3hh Irish draught x Thoroughbred. I have also hacked my previous yards event horses out on a weekly basis.
Competition Details
I have just started UA eventing due to previously having no transport so I had to hack to everything. I have been to lots of events out on the lorry for my previous employer however.
