Enthusiastic about the care and well-being of horses, looking to get back into an equestrian environment and support those who want the same. Confident and able rider, groomer and stable hand with volunteer experience and 8+ years in riding/hacking.Duties of Current Occupation
Stable Hand; Stall maintenance/cleaning and replenishing water, hay and salt blocks, clean/clear walkways, arena set up, instructor support, tacking/untacking, tack care, turning in/out, grooming and shoe care
Equine Work Experience
Careful and precise positioning when in contact with horses with variety of temperaments, cleaning out hooves, guiding new horses in arena and in public, taking and variety of riding styles (bare back etc.)
Type of Ride Work
Have ridden horses such as Arabian in Tunisia, Shetlands (when younger), Mustangs, Gypsy Cob, Thoroughbred and Shire. I have experience in beach, cliff, desert and forest terrain hacking, arena and nature jumps, low level dressage and endurance riding.
