I have practical experience working on a professional dressage yard caring for six competition horses. My responsibilities included mucking out, grooming, feeding, hay preparation, rug changes, tacking up, tack cleaning, yard maintenance and monitoring horse health and wellbeing. I have experience handling fit competition horses, assisting with young horses, and working with nervous or previously mistreated horses using calm, patient handling. I have remained composed during equine emergencies and was trusted to manage the yard independently while the owner attended competitions, taking sole responsibility for the horses' care and welfare. While I have not worked with foals or stallions, I am eager to learn and enjoy expanding my knowledge. I am hardworking, reliable, safety conscious and committed to maintaining high standards of horse welfare and stable management.

I am a confident rider who is continuing to develop my skills through regular lessons and have recently progressed to canter. I have ridden school horses, completed numerous hacks, and have had the opportunity to ride a Team GB dressage horse. I am keen to continue learning, welcome instruction, and enjoy improving my riding ability while building experience with a variety of horses.
