Equine Work Experience
Having grown up as an active member of the Pony Club and British Eventing, I joined Piggy March’s team as a working pupil in 2014. I was promoted to the lead travelling groom position in 2015, working at both national and international events as well as managing the daily yard activities. In 2017, I moved back to Norfolk and worked for a family with four children participating in a range of activities, from Shetland Grand National and hunting to competing at Pony Trials up and down the country. In 2018 I groomed at the Pony European Eventing Championships at Bishop Burton. During this time I also travelled to Millstreet and Montelibretti as a squad groom to the Irish team in the Young Rider European Eventing Championships. Since 2019, I have been based with a family in Hertfordshire, managing their yard, competition and training schedule. The family had two children who rode, with a range of ambitions from local pony club events to training with the development squad.
Specialities
I hold my HGV licence, am confident in sole charge of horses and ponies and ride to a good standard. I am happy to hack, lunge and do fast work. I clip, plait and turn out to a high standard.
