Duties of Current Occupation

I have worked on a stud, livery/ competition yard and on a vets yard. I have carried out all duties. I also have maintenance skills and a small amout of tractor driving experience. I really enjoy clipping.

Equine Work Experience

I have worked and owned horses most of my life. I took a break from working on a stud farm when I fell pregnant with my son in 2006. I then worked for a vet on her livery yard.

I took on three TB's when I moved back to South African. I turned them and sold them on as competition and polo ponies.

I am currently working for Abingdon and Witney College. I work with the horses as well as guide and supervise students on their courses.

Specialities

I have worked with foals and yearlings as well as fit competition horses. I pay attention to detail and have lots of experience in equine first aid. Ibwas a Team Manager before, but this was in a children's residential setting. I have a current enhanced DBS.

Type of Ride Work

I am a competent rider and happy to do any schooling, yard work, plaiting, pulling, feeding, grooming, bandaging and first aid. I am a very calm and reliable person with a great sense of humor. Happy to work in any weather on any project.

I don't mind where the job is, as long as the horses are treated well.

Also happy to do a little child minding and gardening if required. I am very flexible.

I do have my own vehicle and I come with my little spaniel.
