Riding since 8 years old, always happy to help out and get stuck in with the less fun side of horses from a young age. Helped regularly at a local riding school, caring for the horses, getting them ready for lessons, dealing with clients if needed, exercising the horses, and helping to assess (guinea pig) new horses to the yard. Currently share 2 (help with third) horses, involving all aspects of care and wellbeing every day.

Have/share 3 horses, so used to all the tasks involved, good and bad. Regularly used to help with local riding school for a few years before, helping to care for the horses, get them ready for lessons, and dealing with the clients as needed. Current experience leading a team (retail) for past year in fast paced environment. Willing and able to learn new skills. Happy working in a team, and alone once confident with a task, and will ask for advice if unsure.

Mostly flat work and hacking (leisurely and fast paced) with a little jumping both in school and out on hacks. Have previously helped with green horses (schooling and hacking) under a more experienced rider, preparing them for general life in a riding school. Had fair share of the usual spooks, bolts bucks and rears
