Duties of Current Occupation
My main duties are general yard work, handling horses, riding, some basic clipping and trimming.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding and working with horses since I was 9 years old, I have had my own horse since I was 13 years old. I have worked at a busy riding school / livery yard, a busy dressage yard and a couple of privately owned yards in the surrounding Alresford area. I have bought my old pony back into work after a tendon injury twice. I studied at Merrist Wood college doing a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management for 1 year, where I completed my BHS Stage 1 and my Riding and Road Safety, I was also in the top riding group at college.
Happy to work all weathers, I own and drive a car, I also have 2 very friendly dogs who come to work with me and one is very horse aware while the other is young and still needs to learn tho he is extremely gentle.
Specialities
Riding, lunging, bringing horses back into work, hacking, schooling, grooming, mucking out, and general yard duties.
Type of Ride Work
I haven't ridden in 4 years due to loosing my mare, I can ride but I am a bit rusty and have lost a bit confidence for jumping mainly, tho I am keen and willing to get back in the saddle.
Competition Details
Have competed in Show Jumping and One Day Eventing.
