Duties of Current Occupation
General yard duties, daily care of all types of horses from broadmares to racehorses, exercising horses. Veterinary care.
Equine Work Experience
In 2019, I completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management at Sparsholt College, alongside achieving my BHS Stage 2 Care and Riding qualification. Since then, I have gained valuable experience across multiple sectors of the industry, including livery, racing, stud work, and equine veterinary environments. These roles have involved both team-based responsibilities and sole charge, enabling me to build confidence, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
Through my experience, I have developed the ability to work with a wide range of horses, from riding school ponies to broodmares and racehorses. I have also gained strong customer service skills, ensuring a professional and positive experience for clients at all times.
Type of Ride Work
I can school and hack confidently at a good standard. Experience schooling a range of horses from hunters to dressage horses. Experience of escorting clients from adults to children on hacks.
Competition Details
Have competed in unaffiliated show jumping and low level showing. Groomed for livery clients at shows. Groomed for my boss at dressage lessons and in the show ring.
