GCSEs A-levels in biology, chemistry and psychology. BHS stage 1 in horse care and management and riding. Introductory diploma in equine therapy and rehabilitation

All yard duties including mucking out, turning out and bringing in. Stock management of feed and grooming supplies. Handle fit competition horses including stallions. Grooming to a high standard, clipping and plaiting for shows. Driving 3.5ton lorry.

For the last 3 years I have worked at a professional dressage yard in a small team. My role includes all yard duties, as well as being responsible for all the clipping. I plait for shows and keep the horses looking smart at all times. I organise the yard by being responsible for feed stock, the staff rota and field plans. I also pack and organise for any away shows, including driving the 3.5ton lorry if necessary. I pride myself in my attention to detail, observing any slight changes in the horse's behaviour or condition. I am confident in handling fit competition horses including stallions. Previously I have also worked as a sole charge groom, responsible for a 9 horse yard to include all yard duties and confident handling.

High attention to detail. Previous experience working at an equine hospital. Very conscientious and efficient. Passionate of turning out to a high standard, including plaiting, clipping and washing.

I have ridden since I was 8 years old, riding a variety of horses. I have competed my own horse up to novice dressage and work elementary at home. I am a keen dressage rider, but also love hacking and ground work such as lunging and long reining.
